I was commissioned by a German manufacturer to create a logo for an internal transformation initiative inspired by the legacy and craftsmanship of ceramics. The goal was to design a visual mark that captured the project’s forward-thinking nature while reflecting the brand’s heritage of quality, precision, and timeless design.
Timeline
Day 1
Conducted quick brand and visual research, explored conceptual directions, and began initial development.
Day 2
Refined and developed multiple logo options, presented concepts, and gathered client feedback.
Day 3
Implemented changes, finalised the selected logo, and delivered a full set of brand assets.
Concepting
Sketched initial logo concepts and refined them in Illustrator, exploring how different shapes aligned with the client’s recommendations and visual preferences.

After a review, the client shifted direction—moving away from the "Northstar" concept and choosing to focus on the theme of the wave instead.
