PROJECT OVERVIEW
A biopharma company needed an AI-driven solution to help their field representatives be better prepared and more effective when engaging with healthcare professionals. The goal was to provide reps with personalised insights, enable them to review and learn from past interactions, and practice with real-time scenarios based on both historical and current sales data.
THE Problem
Field reps lacked tailored insights before meetings, leading to less effective and less personalised interactions with doctors.
Reps had no structured way to review or reflect on previous sales sessions to identify areas for improvement.
There was no system in place to practice or simulate real-world conversations using data from past or ongoing sales efforts.
Process
Information Architecture
Mapped out the user journey and structured the content flow, ensuring AI training and sales support materials appeared at the most relevant touchpoints.
Interface + UI Design
Leveraged ChatGPT and competitor research to explore language, layout patterns, and user expectations—using these insights to design the initial screens with a focus on clarity, usability, and relevance to the reps’ daily workflow.
Design System
Built a flexible design system in Figma with reusable components, consistent typography, and colour guidelines to maintain visual cohesion across screens.
Prototyping
Created an interactive prototype in Figma to simulate key user flows, demonstrating how reps would access training, review past sessions, and receive real-time insights.
The AI training flow was the main priority. It helps agents by generating questions in various fields from product to safety, based on their previous history using the tool
COMPONENTS
Once the AI training screens were defined and reviewed with client I could begin to develop the design system to create more screens.
